When I purchased the Sears Mink recently, the fur side was in great condition but the back side was in serious need of some TLC. And that's exactly what I gave it. I didn't use a pattern for the lining. Instead I hand folded and stitched by hand where it was needed following the curves of the stole.
The stole was sold exclusively by Sears in 1964-1965 for $9.99, and it was reduced to $7.99 at some point. It was the most expensive doll item of its time. Only a few were produced or sold, making it a rare and very expensive item today.

EG in her Kaleidoscope cape
Evangeline Ghastly wearing her floor sweeping cape. Made of Sheared Mink in a "Kaleidoscope" print. Fit for a queen, or...someone living in an attic. But that's a whole different story..
